Products Certification - European Technical Approval - ETAG

Council Directive 89/106/EEC issued on 1986 provides CE mark for all construction products, then also for anchors. EOTA - European Organization for Technical Approval - is the body in charge of developing European rules on anchors. One of EOTA rules is ETAG001 (European Technical Approval Guidelines). It defines evaluation procedures of metal anchors for use in concrete. All the anchors tested and valued in conformity with ETAG001 can achieve ETA - European Technical Approval - which confer the right to affix CE mark on the products.
